Abstract: A new type of moisturizing mask was prepared
with aloe vera extract as a natural moisturizer. The effect of the amount of
moisturizers such as aloe vera extract, glycerol, sodium hyaluronate,
carageenan oil, and dipropylene glycol on the moisturizing performance of the
mask was investigated by using a single factor experimental method. The
prepared samples were detected. The results showed that the optimal amount of
aloe vera extract was 4.00 g when the best moisturizing rate of the mask was 86.33%
and the water content was 28.00%; the optimal amount of glycerol was 6.00 g
when the best moisturizing rate was 86.38% and the water content was 27.00%;
the optimal amount of 1% sodium hyaluronate was 10.00 g when the best
moisturizing rate was 86.44% and the water content was 27.00%; the moisturizing
rate was 86.32% and the water content was 27.00% when the amount of carageenan
oil CG was 2.00 g; the moisturizing rate was 86.21% and the water content was
27.00% when the amount of dipropylene glycol was 10.00 g. In summary, the
optimal amount of each component in the moisturizing mask formula was aloe vera
extract 4.00 g, glycerol 6.00 g, carageenan oil CG 2.00 g, 1% sodium
hyaluronate 10.00 g, dipropylene glycol 10.00 g.
